Welcome to Rekonto, the intelligent finance advisor platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree strictly to the following terms.

Service Description

Rekonto is an advanced bookkeeping automation middleware that processes financial documents utilizing Artificial Intelligence, seamlessly synchronizing resulting data with authorized accounting software ledgers (specifically Fortnox) and authorized European banking providers (via Enable Banking).

• We are NOT an accounting firm. We do not provide localized accounting advice, auditor opinions, or fiscal representation.
• We are middleware. Fortnox perpetually remains your authoritative System of Record. Our system functions to vastly accelerate your workflows leading into that system.

Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to act on behalf of the registered corporate entity.
• One company organization number corresponds to one unified tenant structure. Cross-company management requires discrete tenants or the specific deployment of our Agency tier.
• You are explicitly responsible for verifying the accuracy of the accounting data you approve prior to it syncing toward Fortnox.
• You must maintain strict operational security over your authentication elements (Google accounts, passwords, etc.).

Acceptable Use Rules

• Operate Rekonto strictly for legitimate business accounting and forecasting purposes.
• Do not transmit, upload, or process documents containing deliberately illegal material.
• Do not attempt to compromise the network, scrape API endpoints arbitrarily, or circumvent multi-tenant boundaries.

AI Disclaimer

Rekonto uses state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini APIs) to optically extract attributes from documents, categorize anomalies, and logically suggest detailed chart-of-accounts bookkeeping dimensions.

• AI suggestions are NOT guaranteed to be universally flawless. Hallucinations or misinterpretations can occur.
• You are comprehensively responsible for briefly reviewing proposed bookings before you press "Approve/Sync".
• Rekonto assumes zero liability for fiscal inconsistencies triggered by AI recommendations that you willingly approved into your accounting ledger.
• Our AI continuously learns dynamically from your corrections, optimizing performance over consecutive operational periods.

Fortnox Integration

By connecting your Fortnox account, you explicitly authorize Rekonto to rapidly read, structure, write, and manipulate accounting data within your ledger strictly on your behalf.

• You may revoke this connection autonomously at any given time directly from the Company Settings menu.
• Rekonto never possesses, sees, or stores your Fortnox password login. We operate strictly via secured OAuth2 tokens housed securely in zero-knowledge infrastructure (Google Secret Manager).

Banking Integration (Enable Banking)

By interacting with the bank connection feature, you authorize Rekonto to routinely fetch a synchronized copy of your aggregated bank transactions (technically known as AISP access under the PSD2 directive).

• We CANNOT touch your money. The connection mechanics physically prohibit payment initiation parameters.
• Banking connection logic is provided via Enable Banking, a heavily regulated, PSD2-licensed FinTech infrastructure provider.
• You may digitally revoke banking connection privileges autonomously at any time.

Billing & Cancellation

• Free Tier: Usage subject to a monthly limit of 20 document inferences. No payment instrument is required.
• Paid Plans: Subscriptions are billed automatically on a monthly schedule via Stripe's payments infrastructure. Subscriptions can be canceled flawlessly without friction.
• Cancellations naturally execute at the end of the fully-paid current billing period. Prorated refunds for partial operational months are not offered.

Limitation of Liability

Rekonto is aggressively engineered for high reliability but is provided strictly "as is" and "as available" without warranty.

• We are expressly not legally liable for misguided AI classification outcomes, transient Fortnox sync delays, catastrophic banking API outages, or subsequent regulatory fines.
• In no systemic event shall our aggregate monetary liability exceed the amount of actual subscription fees you remitted to us throughout the immediate trailing 12-month period.

Account Termination

• We reserve the unilateral capability to gracefully suspend or terminate operational accounts proven to routinely violate these terms.
• You retain the right to terminate your account unassisted at any time. Following this action, your residual data imprint is mechanically destroyed within roughly 30 days entirely.

Governing Law

• These terms, boundaries, and subsequent disputes are strictly interpreted and governed in accordance with Swedish Law.
• Legal conflicts shall be exclusively resolved under the jurisdiction of official Swedish courts.
